JAZZ UNDER THE STARS
Jazz Band Silhouette
On Friday, May 20th, the award-winning MVHS Jazz Band under the Direction of Mr. Doug Meeuwsen will be partnering up with the LaPaz Intermediate School Jazz Band under the Direction of Mr. Dan Robbins for a night of musical entertainment!
“JAZZ UNDER THE STARS” is a yearly event held each spring by our Jazz Band! Come out for a date night or bring the whole family! Tickets will be sold ahead of time and include dinner. There will be a raffle and silent auction too!
Of course, we can not put this event on without your help! If you don’t have a kid in Jazz Band, those are our most needed volunteers so our Jazz parents can enjoy the final performance of the season by their kids! We also need prizes…baskets, of all themes, if you own a cabin or condo elsewhere and can spare a weekend to donate, gift cards, you name it! Many hands make light work in putting together these baskets too!
There will be a “JUTS” committee and they will be meeting a few times over the next 3 months to make sure everything turns out just perfect for this spectacular evening! Please, please, contact our Jazz Band Manager, Carol Veranavich @ Jazz Band Manager
