Parents are welcome to attend Fitting Day with their student to ask questions, meet Booster members, or make payments. Parent volunteers are always needed as well! No experience required. Full day preferred, but any amount of time is helpful! Please email the Uniform Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
MARCHING BAND CAMP
Marching Band & Color Guard participate in a one-week intensive rehearsal schedule (known as “Band Camp”) just prior to the beginning of school. This gives performers the opportunity to build relationships with other students and their coaches, as well as learning the Field Show for the year.
All Marching Band students participate in marching practice on the football field from 8:00 am to Noon every day (Monday through Friday). Afternoon and evenings are reserved for sectional rehearsals. Sectional schedules vary and will be communicated by student section leaders. These are busy, fun, exhausting days for the students. Please try to keep their schedules flexible as these rehearsal times may change on the fly. Color Guard practice schedules will be communicated by the coaches and Color Guard Manager.
Students should wear light colored, comfortable clothes for movement, sunscreen and a hat. They should bring plenty of WATER, preferably in a large insulated water jug. Prior to Marching Band Camp, students must complete and turn in all forms and have athletic clearance on file from a doctor. This is a school requirement.
